  • 【No disruptive behavior】
Loud noise, yelling, littering, engine revving Please avoid these at all costs. One person's behavior... affects the entire JDM community’s image.
  • 【Do not disrupt the driving experience】
Distracting the driver or other participants can lead to serious accidents. Please avoid sudden or unexpected actions.
  • 【Please be on time】
The experience runs on a set schedule. If you’re late, you might not get the full experience.
  • 【Take care of your valuables】
We cannot be held responsible for any loss or theft.
  • 【No smartphone use while driving】
Drivers must not look at or operate their phones. Shuto Expressway lanes are narrow and police presence is high. Accidents and tickets are a real risk. If something does happen our service will be suspended, and you’ll need to handle everything on your own.
  • 【We use three apps】
In » YOUR DRIVE «, we use the following three apps: For quick communication while driving: the walkie-talkie app Zello. For checking routes and your current location: Google Maps. For communication and sharing important information before the experience: LINE. Please install each app on your smartphone and make sure they are ready to use before the day of your experience. You can check the required settings for LINE here> When registering a Zello account, please avoid using your company email address, as it will automatically create a business account and may prompt you to switch to a paid plan. We recommend using a personal email address, such as Gmail, for registration.
  • 【We drive in a convoy led by a staff vehicle】
Group driving helps avoid stress and prevents getting lost so you can focus on driving and enjoy the scenery. We always prioritize safety and never exceed the legal speed limit. That pace... is exactly what brings out the best in the Wangan view. If you ignore instructions and cause an accident or break the law we take no responsibility.
  • 【If other vehicles cut into the convoy】
If you lose sight of the lead car message: “The formation broke.” The lead car will reply: “You go in front.” Move into the passing lane get ahead of the lead car and merge into the gap in front. Then the lead will say: “Taking the front” and return to the front. If an interchange is near and there’s no time to overtake, the lead will guide you verbally just listen calmly.
  • 【About Daikoku Parking Area】
Our stop at Daikoku PA lasts around one hour. If you get lost or arrive late, your stay may be shorter or skipped entirely. If you want to stay longer or circle the expressway again, you may also leave the group from here. Just let the staff know.
  • 【No alcohol for drivers or passengers】
If any alcohol consumption is detected you will be refused participation and no refunds will be provided.
  • 【Keep to the leftmost lane】
We use the leftmost driving lane as a rule. The right lane is only used for exits on the right or when we need to reorganize the convoy.
  • 【If the convoy is split by a traffic light】
Don’t panic... just check the left side of the road. Someone from your group will be there hazard lights flashing, waiting. Once you spot them, contact via Zello: “Almost there.” Then merge back in from the rear. If there’s no place to stop slow down with hazards on and help your teammates re-enter the lane safely.
  • 【How the convoy starts】
We begin on surface roads. To safely form the convoy, the last car temporarily blocks traffic. The lead staff car sends a message on Zello: “Check rear and give the start.” The last car checks traffic, signals, and when there’s a break in the flow, you’ll hear “All ready?” if no one responds “NO” you’ll hear “Go now!” and the whole convoy starts moving together.
  • 【How we rescue lost cars】
If someone gets separated, we’ll wait until all others arrive at Daikoku Parking Area then staff will locate the lost car and go pick them up. This takes time especially near Daishi or Ukishima Junction which are very tricky to re-enter once exited. Stay close and be alert in these areas.
  • 【Don’t forget to check your ETC】
To enter the Shuto Expressway, ETC is required. Before departure — make sure your onboard ETC device is functioning and that your ETC card is properly inserted. If your car doesn’t support ETC — you won’t be allowed to join, and no refunds will be issued. If you're stopped at a toll gate without ETC, you won’t be able to continue the lead car will keep going, and you’ll need to handle the situation on your own. If you wait in a safe location our staff car will pick you up within one hour.
  • 【If you get lost during the drive】
If you realize you’ve left the route exit the expressway at the next ramp, find a safe place to wait. A convenience store parking lot is ideal it’s safe, comfortable... and makes reunion easier. While you wait why not treat yourself to a tasty conbini dessert?
  • 【Feel free to enjoy the music!】
We’ll share a playlist that perfectly fits the Wangan views ride along and let the music enhance the journey.
  • 【But getting “drunk” on the music is totally welcome!】
Our in-car playlist is carefully curated to match the scenic vibe of the Wangan expressway. If you'd prefer the sound of the road instead just let us know, and we’ll turn the music off.
  • 【You may be refused entry if under the influence】
For safety and in consideration of police checkpoints we may have to refuse participants who appear intoxicated.
